What we did in the last few months is essentially made every champ a meta champion.

So, it will not be long before you get some quality advice on League of Legends to enable you to start to get a build.  
With the right video on the correct forums you can even be learning it with someone else that has already played for a long time and is really good at it.

So, you are more likely to be successful as you will get a better chance of making sure you build is not going to be useless to you and that you don’t just waste resources.  
You will have a chance to learn from mistakes from other players that have already made them or you will be learning from a really good friend in the community that is better than you at it and who will guide you in the right direction so you don’t do things that.  
  
you really need to watch out for "tanks" and "junglers" that roam the lanes, they need a little damage before they can really wreck havoc, if you have some damage on your champion your teammates can be better off with a heal rather than a damage!

Supports can really take care of the bottom lane and jungle lanes, since junglers don’t do a lot in other lanes, and the lack of these roles makes it very clear who has to carry.

Perruzzi went on to outline the issues that come with a lack of support champions, citing the following reasons: "Support champions make it very clear who is the strongest and weak link on a team; they make for a lot of snowballing, but not many snowball fights. I think when we have no support champions, we also tend to have no jungler champion.

It's true that, while the season-long event is pretty much done now, we're in the closing weeks of the year-long thing.  
But if Riot wanted to make something permanent, they would be going about it the wrong way.  
  
"They're not any more. I think it’s a bit weird that every champion can carry because they’re good in teamfights and they’re strong in a duel. During game play champions gain experience and items to enhance their skills and abilities. It's on the PBE server right now.  
  
They've been put back to where they are, where they used to be. They’re strong solo, so they carry if they want to, and they’re strong in teamfights because they’re good at putting people under pressure with their CC, their movement speed, and their damage." This leaves other lanes with really low pressure; since supports don’t need to be as aggressive as their counterparts, you can just build whatever you want in other lanes, which is great for your composition, but it kind of leaves your lane uninteresting.  
  
"I think it’s a very different playstyle from a mage or an AD carry." One of the issues Perruzzi sees with a lack of support champions in the game is the general stigma that surrounds them.
