Do you like free stuff? We already know the answer to that. And boy, do we have good news for you: Not only will your help protect you from the virus, but it can get you so much free stuff. Companies, organizations and state and local governments are getting their coronavirus vaccines -- just show your . These incentives are especially helpful in urging more people to get both doses of either the or  vaccine. As of this week, have received at least one vaccine dose, but recent data has shown that some people are . And though the has pointed out the mild that most people experience after the second vaccine shot, those side effects still don't compare to actually having . If having to get two shots is part of the concern, the is just one dose.  Aside from brands offering incentives, some employers are also offering a perk, whether it's paid time off or a cash bonus. If you aren't sure whether there's a perk, ask your employer -- you might be pleasantly surprised. To take advantage of all these perks on offer, you have to do your part and get vaccinated. Free child careAccording to a  on President Joe Biden's "National Month of Action," four of the country's major child care providers will provide free daycare for parents during their vaccine appointment. and will offer drop-in care for any parent while they get vaccinated or recover from vaccination;  will offer free childcare to parents employed at participating organizations; and over 500 locations will also offer drop-in care for vaccine appointments.  Krispy Kreme You can get a free Original Glazed Doughnut at any by showing your vaccination card. To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of the US and have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine at a Kroger facility (adult Kroger employees are also eligible, regardless of where they got vaccinated). Oregon is giving one vaccinated person in each of the state's 36 counties $10,000 -- pretty good odds if you're in Gilliam County (1 in 616), KGW8 . Additionally, one vaccinated resident will  on June 28. All residents over age 18 who've received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by June 27 will be eligible. Five $100,000 scholarships through the Oregon College Savings Plan will also be offered to vaccinated students between the ages of 12 and 17. WashingtonOn June 7, Washington state announced its promotion, which will allow state-licensed cannabis retailers to give away one marijuana joint to vaccinated adults age 21 and older. The offer will be in effect at participating cannabis stores until July 12. Washington has a similar promotion involving alcohol, opening the door for participating retailers to give an alcoholic beverage to vaccinated adults. West Virginia 
In April, Gov. Jim Justice announced between the ages of 16 and 35 can get a $100 savings bond if they get vaccinated. From June 10 through Aug. 4, the state will run a bigger vaccine incentive program, which includes a $1.588 million grand prize, full scholarships to a West Virginia higher education institution, state park vacations, trucks, lifetime fishing and hunting licenses and custom-made rifles and guns. Fully vaccinated West Virginians will need to register to enter, and this article will be updated when a registration website becomes available. How to find other perks in your area
